Make Vodka Sauce From Marinara

Simply making an all-time favorite Vodka sauce from marinara!

Ingredients To Make Vodka Sauce From Marinara

  • 1/4 cup Vodka
  • 26 oz Marinara Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper
  • 3/4 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese

Ingredients To Make Marinara Sauce

  • 28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Diced Onions
  • Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Dried Basil
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Basil
  • Black Pepper
  • Sea Salt


  • Take 1/4 cup vodka and add 1/2 tsp red pepper to it
  • Keep this vodka mix aside for a while
  • Heat the oil in the saucepan and add chopped onions in it
  • Sauté the onions for 1-2 minutes till they get a bit soft
  • Add a bit of salt and cook for 1 minute
  • Add the vodka mix in the saucepan now
  • Cook until the alcohol from the vodka burns and evaporates
  • Add the marinara sauce in the saucepan
  • You can add extra vodka if you want for more flavor
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes
  • Add heavy cream and parmesan cheese to give it a creamy texture
  • Cook for 5-10 minutes
  • Serve with hot food!


Only add a little sugar in marinara sauce if your tomatoes are not sweet enough already.
