Notes
How to make Whipped Cream?
So we’re going to start out with cold cream.
Now, cold cream whips so much better than warm cream, so make sure it’s nice and cold from the fridge.
Also, in every country, cream is different for whipping, for different uses.
So here is a list below for a few countries, so you can see what cream you should be using in these countries:
- UK: Whipping Cream
- Netherlands: Slagroom
- Philippines: Whipped cream or heavy cream
To whip my cream, I’m going to use an electric hand-mixer.
You can also use a stand-mixer, or you can do it by hand, but more power to you, because doing it by hand needs a lot more elbow grease.
Now simply just turn on your machine to medium-high speed and let it whip.
If you look at the cream now, it has been whipping for around 2-3 minutes, and it’s starting to thicken.
But we’re not done yet; we’re going to keep going.
And there you have it: after just a few minutes, you have lovely whipped cream.
Look at that: it’s nice and thick, it’s not too soft.
This is the perfect texture you want.
And there you go, now you know how to make awesome whipped cream.
Enjoy this whipped cream with the mexican fruit salad we made earlier.
