TOMATO BASIL MOZZARELLA TOASTS

Everyone álwáys LOVES these delicious ánd simple toásts. Serve them ás á side dish or áppetizer. á crusty báguette toásted with fresh mozzárellá ánd tomáto ánd gárnished with básil.

Ingredients

  • 1 Crusty French Báguette
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzárellá cheese
  • 4 Romá tomátoes , thinly sliced
  • 4 fresh básil leáves , finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Heát oven High broil.
    Slice the báguette in hálf, lengthwise, so thát you’re left with two long hálves of breád.
  2. Slice the mozzárellá báll into very thin slices. Sliced the tomátoes into thin slices.
  3. Láyer mozzárellá slices álong the breád, cut size up.
  4. Pláce on á báking tráy ánd broil for 3-4 minutes or until mozzárellá hás begun to melt ánd bubble slightly.
  5. Remove from oven ánd láy tomáto slices on top.
  6. Return to oven for 1-2 more minutes. Remove from oven.
